Back to School
The “Back to School” event at Colegio Alemán del Istmo is a highly anticipated gathering where the school administration presents the academic plan for the upcoming year to parents and guardians. The administrative team introduces the new teachers who will contribute to students’ learning experiences, emphasizing their dedication to creating a nurturing environment.
Through informative presentations, the administration outlines the school’s vision and goals, fostering a sense of partnership between home and school. As the event concludes, parents and guardians leave with confidence in the school’s commitment to their child’s academic success.
Oktoberfest
The Oktoberfest celebration at Colegio Alemán del Istmo brings the spirit of Bavaria to the school grounds each autumn, enveloping students and staff in a festive atmosphere reminiscent of the traditional German festival. Weeks of anticipation lead up to the event, with preparations including autumn-themed decorations and long wooden tables set up under festooned tents.
Traditional Bavarian fare and live music create an immersive experience for attendees, while a variety of activities and games ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy. As the celebration draws to a close, a sense of community and camaraderie prevails, leaving a lasting impact that extends far beyond the event itself.
Talent Show
Our annual Talent Show is held on our campus every May. The event gathers the school community to celebrate the diverse talents of our students. Months of anticipation precede the show, with preparations and rehearsals that showcase the dedication and passion of the participants. The court is transformed into a magical space adorned with lights and banners, setting the stage for captivating performances ranging from music to dance.
Beyond the talent on display, the show fosters a sense of unity and support, with friends cheering from the audience and teachers offering encouragement backstage. The event culminates in a collective sense of pride and accomplishment, leaving a lasting impact on the school community as a reminder of the potential within each individual.
Panamanian Traditions
At Colegio Alemán del Istmo, we commemorate Folkloric Day with a vibrant showcase of traditional dances and attire. This event provides an invaluable opportunity for our students to immerse themselves in Panamanian culture, deepening their understanding and appreciation.
With the enthusiastic participation of parents and school members, the day is not only a celebration of heritage but also a chance for our community to come together in joyous harmony, fostering cultural enrichment and learning for all involved.
